Universal Orlando Resort announced new details and dates for its destination-wide winter holidays celebration, which launches on November 22 and runs daily through December 31.
One of the cornerstones of Universal’s holiday experience is Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Guests can grab a Hot Butterbeer, enjoy holiday-themed performances by The Frog Choir, and dance along with Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees in Diagon Alley.
As night falls in Hogsmeade, the nighttime spectacle, “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle,” returns, bringing to life a projection show on Hogwarts Castle highlighting Christmas moments and holiday cheer.
For Dr. Seuss fans, they can partake in the classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas stage show, “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular.” Seuss Landing will also transport travelers directly to Who-ville where they will be surrounded by whimsical holiday décor and enjoy special appearances from the Whos and the Grinch.
Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s is returning in 2024, including stories and characters from Despicable Me, Shrek, and Madagascar, as well as cherished holiday traditions, come to life as larger-than-life balloons and colorful holiday floats.
Guests will also be able to enjoy themed food and beverage, shop seasonal merchandise from an all-new Holiday Tribute Store, enjoy meet and greets with their favorite characters, and take part in an all-new Holiday Nutcracker Hunt.
The Universal Holiday Tour will offer visitors the chance to experience popular holiday attractions across the destination, which runs from November 25 through December 29. Pricing starts at $85.19 per person, and separate theme park admission with a 1-Day 2-Park Park-to-Park ticket is required.
Other special holiday events include The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast at Universal Islands of Adventure, holiday festivities at all eight Universal Orlando Resort hotels, and specialty entertainment and menu offerings at Universal CityWalk.
