AAA inspectors continue to evaluate hotels and restaurants across North America, the Caribbean and Costa Rica during surprise visits to objectively assess their standing when it comes to the 4 Cs of AAA Diamonds: Cleanliness, Comfort, Cuisine and Consistency. For travelers seeking the finest in accommodations and dining, the AAA Diamond ratings provide a reliable guide to the best experiences available.

Currently, roughly 140 hotels and 60 restaurants hold the prestigious Five Diamond rating, while approximately 1,750 hotels and 500 restaurants are recognized as Four Diamond establishments.
