Spooky season is officially here. Disneyland Resort has transformed into a bewitching wonderland for its annual Halloween Time celebration.
Through October 31, 2024, visitors can immerse themselves in a world of spooky fun, seasonal treats and beloved Disney magic with a Halloween twist.
At Disneyland Park, Main Street, U.S.A. comes alive with the Main Street Pumpkin Festival, featuring an array of pumpkins and fall foliage. The centerpiece is a giant Mickey Mouse pumpkin that is sure to be a favorite photo spot for visitors. Keep an eye out for Mickey and friends in their new Halloween attire — Mickey’s skeleton-inspired suit is particularly dapper!
No Halloween celebration would be complete without the Haunted Mansion Holiday. This year’s gingerbread house display in the ballroom scene promises to be a ghoulish delight, featuring a giant gingerbread zombie on an operating table made of sweet confections.
“Halloween Screams” takes over the night sky with projections of Disney Villains, spooky effects and on select nights, a spectacular fireworks show. For an extra touch of magic, guests can purchase a MagicBand+, which interacts with the show.
Over at Disney California Adventure Park, Radiator Springs transforms once again transforms for the season to Radiator Screams with Cars Land getting its annual spooky makeover. Don’t miss the Halloween-themed versions of popular rides like Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween and Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree.
New this year is the daytime debut of “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” at the Disney Theater. This interactive show features Mickey and friends celebrating a not-so-scary Halloween with fun stories and catchy songs.
For those interested in cultural celebrations, Plaza de la Familia honors Día de los Muertos through November 2. The festivities include colorful decorations, photo opportunities and family activities. Don’t miss “The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate The Musical World of Coco!” show, featuring live performances of songs from the beloved Pixar film.
Foodies will delight in the seasonal treats available throughout the resort. From the “Ghost” of Anaheim burger at Galactic Grill to the Mickey Mouse mummy shake at Schmoozies! (very delicious by the way), there’s something to satisfy every craving.
The Halloween spirit extends beyond the parks, with the Downtown Disney District and Hotels of the Disneyland Resort joining in on the fun. At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, marvel at a confectionery masterpiece inspired by the Queen from Snow White, made with an impressive amount of chocolate and marshmallows. Visitors can also explore all the new updates in Downtown Disney, including new restaurants like Din Tai Fung and the new temporary pop-up location of Earl of Sandwich.
