Oceania Cruises is launching new cruises from Tampa, Florida.
The line is unveiling a collection of 7- to 20-night voyages in early 2026 aboard Insignia that include stops in St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Tortola, Cozumel, Costa Maya and Belize City, among others. Oceania will also make a day-time crossing of the Panama Canal, with an overnight stay in Panama City.
New Oceania Cruises Insignia
The better-than-new Insignia blends sophistication with a contemporary flair to create a casually elegant ambiance that embodies the most treasured elements of our celebrated ships. Every surface of every suite and stateroom is entirely new, while in the public spaces, a refreshed color palette of soft sea and sky tones surrounds a tasteful renewal of fabrics, furnishings and lighting fixtures that exquisitely encompasses the inimitable style and comfort of Oceania Cruises.
The 670-guest vessel features specialty restaurants, a spa and fitness center, a sports deck, a library, a casino and many bars and lounges.
“Port Tampa Bay represents an exciting new chapter as Oceania Cruises becomes the first ultra-premium cruise line to have dedicated voyages from Tampa, opening the door as a convenient gateway to Florida’s west coast and the Gulf of Mexico,” says Frank A. Del Rio, president of Oceania Cruises. “This is a natural expansion for our brand, as Tampa echoes the cosmopolitan essence of our beloved hometown of Miami with its diverse mix of international influences and cultures.”
Port Tampa Bay, meanwhile, is equally excited about the brand’s decision to base Insignia on Florida’s west coast starting in March 2026.
“The arrival of Insignia marks a significant milestone, enhancing Tampa’s status as a premier cruise destination,” says Paul Anderson, president and chief executive officer of Port Tampa Bay. “We look forward to welcoming new guests to our beautiful city and gateway, as the increased tourism will create substantial economic opportunities for our region, workers, and businesses.”
