Uniworld, the boutique river cruise company, is certainly being innovative. In announcing its 2025 themed trips, Uniworld is bringing back some popular itineraries and innovative ideas. The newly developed offerings include a music-themed cruise, an all-inclusive golf package, and the brand’s first-ever women-only sailing.
“Travelers have demonstrated an increasing desire for more specialized and unique experiences, inspiring us to develop a wide range of new themed cruises for 2025,” says Ellen Bettridge, President and CEO of Uniworld. “From our first-ever cruise exclusively for women to luxurious, all-inclusive golf packages, we are expanding our portfolio to further cater to a range of interests, passions and communities, all while remaining deeply committed to delivering unforgettable experiences that exceed our guests’ expectations.”
Uniworld’s first-ever ‘Women’s Only Cruise’ will sail on August 24 on the ‘Burgundy and Provence’ itinerary. This special voyage will connect generations of women from across the globe, with unique excursions such as truffle hunting, onboard workshops led by local artisans and a bike ride to the Chartreuse. In addition, guests can look forward to lavender weaving, burlesque sessions and a decadent chocolate and wine pairing experience.
For music lovers, Uniworld will offer exclusive ‘Music of the Danube’ sailings on August 3 and November 2 aboard the ‘Enchanting Danube’ itinerary. Guests will be treated to an array of musically themed experiences, including a yodeling workshop, a Sound of Music tour in Salzburg, an organ concert at Abbey Durnstein and an exclusive Mozart and Strauss concert.
And there’s something for the hackers, we mean golfers, out there.
Uniworld will introduce an all-inclusive ‘Premium Golf Package’ as an add-on to the ‘Brilliant Bordeaux’ itinerary. Available across six summer sailings, this package includes 18-hole rounds at Cabot Bordeaux and St. Emilion, a shared caddy service and gourmet dining, beverages, surprise gifts and more.
But the old favorites haven’t been forgotten, either, including Out On The Rivers trips, Jewish Heritage Sailings, and the Generations Collection, which are offered when school is not incessant and will be offered on select itineraries in Europe along the Rhine and Danube rivers, as well as Egypt. Generations Collection sailings feature an array of activities and amenities tailored specifically for children, like dessert-making sessions with the pastry chef, active and educational shore excursions, crafting workshops, local language classes and VIP tour of the ship.
