Beyond Green, the global portfolio of some of the most sustainable lodgings on the planet, has added seven new properties to its list this fall, including four new andBeyond properties.
The new member properties adhere to more than 50 sustainability indicators as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. They’re also now all part of the I Prefer Hotel Rewards Program, which is Preferred Travel Group’s loyalty program offering ways to earn and redeem points for stay at over 650 hotels and resorts around the globe.
“We’re excited to welcome these seven new properties to our expanding global portfolio, including our inaugural properties in the United Kingdom, Austria and Botswana,” said Lindsey Ueberroth, CEO of Beyond Green. “With each addition, we continue to uphold our commitment to using travel as a positive force for change, these properties strengthen our shared vision of fostering a more sustainable and responsible future for both travelers and the planet.”
The new Beyond Green properties are listed below:
Swinton Park Hotel

Located in Ripon in the Yorkshire Dales, the Swinton Park Hotel is located in a Grade II-listed castle, featuring a sweeping history enshrined within 200 acres of scenic parkland and gardens. Guests of the hotel enjoy dishes prepared by Michelin-trained chefs with estate-grown produce and a variety of nature experiences, from wild swimming to falconry.
The hotel utilizes a biomass boiler for energy, offers a chemical-free pool for guests and plants one tree in the region for every guest stay in partnership with local conservation organizations.
SCP Corcovado Wilderness Lodge
Immersive nature experiences are part of the fabric of the SCP Corcovado Wilderness Lodge. Located within Corcovado National Park in Bahia Drake, Costa Rica, the retreat offers a secluded escape within 250,000 acres of what is known as one of the world’s most biodiverse places. It offers a wide range of outdoor experiences from hiking to fishing, and even offers a certified dive center.
In the sustainability realm, SCP Corcovado sources 70 percent of its energy from renewable resources, eliminated single-use plastics on-property and follows a zero waste dining model. It promotes clean water access to residents of Bahia Drake and provides therapeutic experiences for people with disabilities through Osa Sensorial. It’s also a partner of Innoceana and the One Trillion Trees Program.
Bio- and Wellnessresort Stanglwirt
Don’t let the difficult name write this resort off your list: the Bio- and Wellnessresort Stanglwirt is a premier place for connecting with nature through sustainable wellness experiences. It’s located in the foothills of Austria’s Kitzbühel Alps and is constructed of local Arolla pine, lime mortar and wooden beams.
The 400-year-old property offers a wellness program with multiple saunas and steam baths, horseback riding, a ski and snowboarding school, tennis courts and more, all powered by a biomass power plant and hydroelectric power station. The resort’s water is sourced directly from the pristine Kaiserquelle spring, while an onsite organic farm ensures the freshest food.
andBeyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp

Located in the scenic Okavango Delta in Botswana, the andBeyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp is spread across a large 61,775-acre wildlife concession along the Moremi Game Reserve, offering an immersive and responsible safari experience for travelers. Guests can enjoy a boutique feel as well, as the camp offers only nine tented suites, elevated on platforms.
The camp sources 80 percent of its energy through a photovoltaic plant and Tesla Powerpack Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), which reduces its reliance on traditional generators significantly.
andBeyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge
The second new andBeyond property to become a Beyond Green member is the andBeyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge. The property offers elevated suites inspired by the natural surroundings, and was constructed using local craftsmanship and natural materials.
The safari lodge is the first in the Okavango Delta to use a state-of-the-art solar power plant, which supplies 70 percent of the resort’s energy. Guests can tour the facilities to learn more about how renewable energy is generated and used.
andBeyond Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp
Located on a private island within the Okavango Delta is the andBeyond Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp. Offering only nine safari tents, each featuring a private plunge pool, al fresco shower and outdoor sala, the luxury camp offers a luxurious and secluded stay within this biodiverse region of the world.
The camp supplies 80 percent of its energy through an advanced solar photovoltaic hybrid system and a BESS.
andBeyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp
The last new Beyond Green member property is located in Masai Mara, Kenya. The andBeyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp is located along the Saparingo River and offers a wonderful vantage point to view the region’s Great Migration. It offers 40 Maasai-inspired tents.
The camp’s initiatives include generating hot water with solar power, eliminating plastic water bottles, investing in Maasai communities through education and healthcare-related initiatives and more.
