Heritage Line has given its ship Violet a makeover, just in time for the vessel’s 15th anniversary.
The boutique river cruise line in Southeast Asia has completed an extensive redesign of the vessel’s public and private spaces, which feature an elegant blend of French-Indochinese and Art Deco style. Violet will return to service in Vietnam’s Halong Bay on October 31.
The furbishment includes the ship’s library lounge, restaurant and bar, boutique shop, sun deck and suites. The ship also boasts a new private dining venue with a specially curated menu.
Designers incorporated hand-painted murals, rugged textures, bold patterns and furnishings inspired by Halong Bay.
“We are committed to continually enhancing our vessels to ensure each journey offers an unmatched blend of luxury and authenticity,” says Andreas Schroetter, director of sales and marketing for Heritage Line. “With Violet’s newly modernized design, we’ve elevated its status as one of the most private luxury ships available in Halong Bay, offering an intimate and refined experience—ideal for honeymooners, VIPs, multi-generational groups, families and private charter clients seeking exclusivity alongside a deep connection to Southeast Asia’s rich cultural heritage.”
