Adventures by Disney Unveils New Rhône River Cruise

Adventures by Disney is unveiling a new river cruise itinerary on the Rhône River.

Debuting in 2026, the 8-day voyage through southern France will take families from Lyon through the picturesque Rhône River Valley and Provence. Families will be able to explore destinations like Tournon, Viviers, Avignon and Arles—while only having to unpack once.

The trip will be offered aboard the AmaKristina, operated by AmaWaterways. Disney-trained adventure guides will also be on board to ensure the trip is a memorable vacation. The adventure guides will also offer onboard activities designed for young travelers, called “Junior Adventurers.”

Shore excursions range from kayaking beneath the historic Roman Pont du Gard aqueduct to riding a steam-powered train through the Doux Gorges. Culinary tours and tastings will also be available, including visits to Rhône River Valley vineyards. Travelers can also participate in art-inspired excursions, like a walking tour of Roussillon’s Ochre Trail, followed by a hands-on painting class. 

Adventures by Disney will offer five departures of the new Rhône River cruises in 2026: four for families and one for adults only. Bookings for the new trip open February 12.
