MSC Seascape is slated to arrive in Galveston, Texas, in November 2025, debuting brand-new family entertainment options and state-of-the-art onboard activities.
The cruise ship, named “Best Cruise Ship by Families” by Forbes Vetted and “Best Family Ship” in the 2024 Travel Weekly Magellan Awards, sports over 7,500 square feet of dedicated kids’ space and cutting-edge amusement options.
Matteo Mancini, Family Entertainment Development Director, MSC Cruises, said in a statement, “Galveston has long been a popular departure point for families with children seeking unforgettable cruise experiences, and we know the arrival of MSC Seascape will offer top-of-the-line entertainment for cruisers of all ages.”
He added, “The ship is set to bring offerings to captivate today’s Gen Z and Gen Alpha travelers, from immersive digital entertainment to interactive game shows designed to inspire wonder, excitement, and lasting memories for the entire family.”
New Onboard Offerings
- LEGO Parade: With LEGO characters for children of all ages.
- LEGO Game Show: Families come together for a team challenge in which parents and children compete as true Master Builders.
- Boxes Family Game Show: Fun-filled event where each mystery box contains a blind challenge.
- Doremix Family Disco: Dance competition for parents and children vying for the best dancers of the night.
- Guinness World Record Family Quiz: Families try to bet on the world’s most incredible records and attempt to top them.
- MasterChef At Sea Juniors: A new generation of chefs has the opportunity to compete in a kids’ cooking competition.
- Formula 1 Tournament on PS5: Fans experience the thrill of the F1 races.
- Quiz O’Clock: New format designed for trivia enthusiasts available in three different versions covering specials, family and teen challenges.
New Family Offerings
- Break The Wall: High-tech game in front of a giant digital wall includes surprise tests performed on stage with the audience as judges.
- Vikings: An “edutaining” game teaching participants about the history of Vikings with a fun challenge at sea.
- Cabin 12006—The Experience: MSC’s original web series entertainment with seven different activities, a family game show and a casting session with performances.
- Cabin 12006 – The Secret Game: Immersive mystery-solving experience with music, videos, TikTok trials and memory games.
- Beat The Music: An Interactive and digital game show dedicated to music for all ages. Parents will be challenged to know the latest music hits their kids are listening to and kids will have to guess parental classics.
- Doremiland, The Documentary: Behind-the-scenes film for guests in cabins with children and teens sharing secrets behind the creation of MSC Cruises’ family offerings.
- MSC Dance Crew: Developed in partnership with Fremantle, the company behind TV talent shows Idols, The X Factor and Got Talent, lets teams of 10- to 17-year-olds battle to win the dance crew of the year title.
- TLS Teens Late Show: Teens are cast in a real “Late Show” live from the Teens Club, focusing on trends, music charts, guest stars, TV series, games and prizes.
- MSC Foundation Junior Ambassadors: Provides young guests with tools for understanding projects like marine conservation, making them the center of dedicated activities.

MSC Cruises outlined more specifics about MSC Seascape’s entertainment options when it begins homeporting in Galveston, sailing on seven-night Western Caribbean itineraries beginning Nov. 9, 2025.
“Guests can look forward to a Texas-inspired experience at sea, including a resident country music band, dedicated country line dance classes, streaming of Texas sports on massive screens and more,” MSC Cruises said.
Among things, the 170,400 gross ton, 5,877 passenger ship will also feature a dueling pianos experience in the Uptown Lounge and comedy programming highlighting a US-based comedian in the Forward Theatre.
The Forward Theatre will offer a wide number of productions, including, but not limited to, MAGINOCEAN, with “aerial and flying acts, aquatic animal puppetry, vocalists, and dancers outfitted in beautiful couture costumes inspired by the sea,” MSC Cruises said.
DREAMSCAPE is designed to “transport guests into a fantasy world with circus performers, dancers and singers, along with interactive videos that will allow the audience to truly immerse themselves in the world of imagination,” line said, while IN CONCERT will feature “a cast of outstanding vocalists and dancers will perform the rock classics that guests know and love, with flashing lights and concert-style scenery that will make the audience rock out to their favorite hits.”
Le Cabaret Rouge, an aft lounge, will boast live music, variety acts, interactive events and late-night parties.
“MSC Seascape is bringing big energy and even bigger experiences to Galveston with remarkable entertainment options that blend local flavors with top-notch productions to offer countless hours of vibrant shows and experiences for everyone,” said Steve Leatham, vice president of entertainment at MSC Cruises.
“From beloved shows and Broadway-style performances to never-before-seen concepts, our entertainment offerings will bring a lively energy that’s sure to activate the ship and bring our guests to their feet,” he added.
