Viking debuts new 2027 itineraries on the Mississippi and Ohio rivers, which are now open for booking.
Guests can now reserve their spot on the new 15-day “Bayous, Blues & Bluegrass” itinerary, which operates between New Orleans and Louisville. The 8-day “Mississippi & Ohio River Explorer” itinerary is also available, offering a journey between Memphis and Louisville.
Both new voyages are offered aboard the Viking Mississippi, a 386-guest vessel with 193 all-outside staterooms.
In addition to the new itineraries, guests can also book a variety of other voyages, from the 22-day “Mississippi River Odyssey” to the 8-day “Mississippi Delta Explorer” and more.
From now through February 28, guests can save up to 35 percent off all inclusive voyages and enjoy free international airfare and a $25 deposit on all itineraries on select 2026-2028 river, ocean and expedition itineraries during the Viking Savings Event.
“Wherever they are in the world, our guests are interested in the history, culture and culinary traditions of the destinations they visit,” says Torstein Hagen, chairman and chief executive officer of Viking. “The towns and cities along the Mississippi and Ohio rivers are close to home for quite a few of our guests—and are fantastic destinations that many have yet to discover.”
