The Disney Treasure has officially made its arrival in Port Canaveral, Florida! This occasion marked the end of its transatlantic journey from the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany to its new home port for the very first time.
The Disney Treasure is almost ready for its maiden voyage on December 21, and Disney Cruise Line fans won’t want to miss one of the biggest milestones yet: the celebration of the ship’s christening! Christening is a maritime tradition that brings good luck to the ship, its crew and all who sail on the vessel. Before welcoming guests onboard, Disney Cruise Line will christen the Disney Treasure like we’ve never done before — and you’re invited to watch it live!

We’ve celebrated every milestone in the Disney Treasure’s shipbuilding process, including the ship’s arrival in Port Canaveral today. This occasion marked the end of its transatlantic journey from the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany to its new home port in Port Canaveral, Florida for the very first time.
What Guests Will Find Aboard the Disney Treasure
The Disney Treasure will unlock the far-reaching realms of Disney Animation, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel and embrace dynamic tales from beloved Disney Parks attractions through captivating and immersive experiences on the high seas. With new adventures like Disney’s first “Coco”-themed theatrical dining experience, a bar inspired by the Haunted Mansion, and a stage show featuring the journey of Moana, everyone in the family will find something to enjoy.
