Intrepid Travel, a world leader in responsible tourism has announced the launch of ‘Short Breaks,’ a new collection of 4–6-day adventures designed specifically for the North American traveler.
With 82 total Short Breaks, including 27 Independent Short Breaks for self-guided travelers, Intrepid is equipping advisors with more product choices than ever before. This offers broad appeal for first-time adventurers and repeat travelers seeking quick escapes, upsell potential as pre-or post-cruise add-ons, or extensions to business and family travel.
Additionally, repeat business drivers turn short getaways into gateways to longer Intrepid journeys and flexible selling enable accessible price points and itineraries that fit diverse lifestyles.
“We know how transformative travel can be, but the luxury of time is not something that everyone has. Intrepid Short Breaks aren’t just about taking time off – they’re about making the most of it, with meaningful experiences that allow travelers to see and do more in fewer days,” said Erica Kritikides, General Manager of Experiences at Intrepid Travel.
She added, “Imagine a weekend trip to Guatemala – you climb an active volcano, hike along forest trails to visit a women-led regenerative farming project, learn to make tortillas in a Guatemalan culinary workshop, and then you’re back in the office on Tuesday, a completely changed person. That’s what these trips are about.”
