In a new year of milestone birthdays, anniversaries and other events happening all around the U.S. in 2026, Caesars Palace joins the party by celebrating 60 years of grandeur on the Las Vegas Strip.
As a result, the iconic resort is ushering a new era of luxury and opulence as it unveils the all-new Colosseum Presidential Villas and Octavius Sky Villas in time for its anniversary.
The new Colosseum Presidential Villas offer a bold take on contemporary luxury – architectural, atmospheric and distinctly elevated. The villas are a modern residential palace with a design that pays homage to heritage while presenting luxury with clarity, balance and intentionality, while, the 29 new Octavius Sky Villas introduce a contemporary design with clean architectural lines, a refined palette and sweeping views of Las Vegas, perched high on the 68th and 69th floors of the Octavius Tower.
“The new Colosseum Presidential Villas and Octavious Sky Villas at Caesars Palace reflect our commitment to elevate the standard of luxury on the Las Vegas Strip,” said Sean McBurney, Chief Commercial Officer and Regional President of Caesars Entertainment.”
He added, “As we commemorate our 60th anniversary, we’re proud to unveil these extraordinary spaces, meticulously designed with thoughtful details to deliver an unparalleled guest experience.”
Here’s what McBurney wants visitors to know about the luxury enhancements at Caesars Palace and future plans for the property.
TravelPulse (TP): What inspired the creation and motivation behind the new Presidential Villas and Sky Villas?
McBurney: The newly renovated and rebranded Colosseum Presidential Villas and Octavius Sky Villas have long been among our most requested accommodations, and this renovation was an opportunity to ensure they set the new standard of luxury in Las Vegas and around the world. To stay competitive in an evolving market and in tune with what our guests value, we set out to thoughtfully reimagine every aspect of these iconic spaces.
Our focus was to preserve the exclusivity and grandeur that have defined the villas for years while refining and elevating every design detail. The result is a modern experience that upholds Caesars Palace’s position as a leader in luxury hospitality on the Las Vegas Strip.
TP: As the villas usher in a new era of luxury on the Las Vegas Strip, what trends are you seeing with regard to what the high-end traveler is looking for?
McBurney: A luxury experience means taking personalized service to the next level. Today’s luxury traveler is looking for authenticity, attention to detail and thoughtful touches that make their stay feel uniquely theirs. It’s less about having the biggest or most expensive room on The Strip and more about the way the experience makes them feel.
Guests want to have their preferences recognized before they arrive. That shift toward personalization is something we’re seeing across the industry, and it was a major focus in how we reimagined these villas.
A great example is the round‑the‑clock butler service in the Presidential Villas. When a guest arrives, they’re not handed a menu; they’re asked what they would like to eat. With dietary restrictions and preferences noted ahead of their arrival, our chefs can create a completely customized meal just for the guest. Personalized experiences like these are what our luxury travelers value most.
Luxury guests also enjoy accommodations that strike the balance between residential comfort and elevated design – spaces that feel like their own private retreat while still capturing the glamour of Las Vegas.
TP: Can you expound on the upcoming renovations to the Augustus, Julius, and Palace Towers, even if they are not at the same level of luxury as the Presidential and Sky Villas?
McBurney: While the Presidential and Sky Villas represent the pinnacle of luxury at Caesars Palace, the upcoming renovations to the Augustus, Julius and Palace Towers reflect our commitment to delivering best-in-class accommodations across all our room categories.
Like our new villas, these comprehensive renovations seek to introduce an elegant, residential design as the new standard for the resort. Once these projects are completed in 2027, we will have recently renovated all rooms at Caesars Palace.
These enhancements will bring a fresh, modern look to some of our most popular room products, ensuring that every guest – no matter which tower they stay in – enjoys an elevated experience that reflects the timeless sophistication of the Caesars Palace brand.
